Research Focus Barry is a senior analyst in Forrester's Information
Delivery research group. His coverage areas include information
management and enterprise content management (ECM), with a specific
focus on document imaging, e-forms, and electronic discovery
(eDiscovery). Barry's past experience includes covering content
management, business process management, and Web services technology
as an analyst with The Delphi Group. At Delphi, he led many
consulting engagements for technology end users, focusing on how to
best use technology to solve business problems. Prior to Delphi,
Barry was a management consultant at the boutique eBusiness strategy
consulting firm eMaven.
Pete Pepiton leads the Discovery Product Management efforts in CA's
Information Management suite. Pepiton joined CA through the iLumin
acquisition where he managed the Data Migration and Discovery
Services practice and ran business development for the legal channel.
Pepiton brings 15 years of experience in delivering professional
services to CA, both as a practicing attorney and as the owner of
several document management companies. Pepiton has spent much of that
time helping to reengineer the way lawyers use technology to achieve
greater efficiency and better results in litigation. He also founded
several document management companies, helping large corporate
clients address, process and produce massive amounts of information.
Pepiton is a member of The Sedona Conference, a think tank dedicated
to education and dialogue surrounding e-discovery issues. He is also
the CA point representative on the Electronic Discovery Reference
Model, a project aimed at generating guidance through the maze of
managing an electronic discovery project. He is a member of the
Louisiana State and American Bar associations. He received his JD
from Louisiana State University Law School and a BS in Accounting
from LSU as well.
